i had a week long episode of intermittent fever that started the day i took my PT1 long exam which was the previous Saturday. my fever kept coming back and i had no idea what was wrong with me! there was even a night where they had to rush me to the ER. i collapsed twice and had muscle spasms which lasted for a good half an hour. i didnt know what was going on with me.
friends, it wasnt dengue (as i kept saying). but for those who thought it was... thank you for the pointers. haha. especially to chino who made the effort of picking up the "dengue weed" for me. i got you guys the CBC you kept on asking for. haha. still have the bruise for further proof.
one whole week of sickness. plus the uber annoying side effect of the antibiotic drug my uncle gave me left me sleepless for 4 nights! with the help of valium, i finally had a good night sleep. but i wouldnt allow myself to be Valium dependent, then that would be a whole other issue.
Fatigue? Stress? who knows... i am okay now. well, not really... haha. this next 2 weeks will be full of pre-finals and final exams... this time, i would avoid the valium and wish i still had the sleeping problem. damn neuroanatomy!
